Abstract(s)
The Covid-19 pandemic was a devastating event with international public health implications, characterized by increased difficulties in the grieving process. Several studies have contributed to the knowledge of the impact of pandemic restrictions on the experience of the bereaved and the difficulties in adapting to the loss. Nevertheless, in Portugal there are few qualitative studies that explore the impact of the phenomenon. In this study, qualitative data were obtained from the responses of 96 participants to a questionnaire specifically designed in the scope of the project “Grief and Bereavement in face of COVID-19 pandemic: transnational study on its impact on well-being, supported by the OPP (Order of Portuguese Psychologists).
