| dc.description.abstract | Drowning is one of the leading causes of unintentional death worldwide; there are an estimated 372 000 drowning deaths every year. Drowning is quick and silent and it can occur in less than a minute. It is already considered a public health problem. The lifeguard's action can be regarded as a significant contribution to a change in this reality.
